ARESP advocates for Human Rights through the respect and implementation of human rights standards to promote and reinforce the rule of law in society. We involve volunteers in research, education and advocacy, we build broad constituencies in the Cameroon and Africa. We monitor, educate, strengthen government, empower, lobby, legally enforce, gender and minority rights. ARESP works in strengthening the capacity of civil society organizations (CSOs) to respond to human rights violations . ARESP works to fight injustice, restore peace, save lives, and build the human rights in the society. We advocate for a world where people live with dignity, freedom, justice, equality, and peace. We investigate and expose human rights violations such as violence against women; represents the internally displaced, immigrants and refugees in the community who are victims of human rights abuses; train and assist groups that protect human rights; and use research, education, and advocacy to engage the public, policy makers, communities in human rights standards.
